History

Constituted within 1988 when Korea Touristry University, Gyeongju University originally consisted of 5 departments: a Department of Tourism Business Administration, a Department of Tourism & Public Administration, a Department of Tourism Development, a Department of Cultural Assets & A Department of English & Tourism. A university expanded around late years to include many more departments, besides as a grad school (founded around 1995). Within 1993, the university changed its title to its todays a single.
